a great use of Spring Break
Today I hung out with some friends from highschool. It was sunny outside, so we rode bikes onto a deserted logging road. We found a stream in the woods and dammed it up just for fun.
I didn't realize it before, but I miss this type of thing. Now that I am in college in The City, I don't really get the chance to go outside and enjoy nature. Even more so, I never get the chance to just play in the woods. There is a certain appeal to exploring forest, getting dirty, and having good clean old fashioned fun.
I hope that after college I will be able to move out of the city and into a smaller town where I will get a chance to explore some countryside. I grew up in the country before I moved to the city, and I don't want to spend the rest of my life in a city environment.
